Anindo, It wasn't a pre-announcement. It was a SEC filing & I am not sure what it said. Seems like the loss is after acquisition charges.

Maybe for options expiry reasons, they wanted to take it down do they released this news after the close.

I got out of shrs/calls with small gain, once my June calls started rolling back toward my purchase price. Again, tight stop-loss. Has saved me many times.

Will it kill the bull market? Since this is not even a pre-announcement, it is too early to tell. I expect DOW to do well. Large-caps techs should do well. If we get pre-announcements out of major tech stocks (not due to currency...notice SUNW held up well) and if these momentum stocks disappoint as well, NAZ will stay in its trading range. So for NAZ, we need to wait to get all these pre-announcements out.

Large-cap techs like HWP or NT that are hugely corrected, don't go up by seven points a day but are "safer" to trade.
