OILEXCO INCORPORATED ANNOUNCES IT HAS CLOSED A PRIVATE PLACEMENT
FINANCING FOR GROSS PROCEEDS OF $500,000

Oilexco Incorporated has closed its previously announced private placement
special warrant unit financing for gross proceeds of $500,000 through the
issuance of 1,000,000 units. Each unit priced at $0.50 per unit consists of
one special warrant exercisable into one Common Share of Oilexco Incorporated
for no additional cost plus one Common Share purchase warrant. Each Common
Share purchase warrant is exercisable to one Common Share of the Company at
$0.60. This entitlement expires one year from today's date.

The net proceeds realized will be utilized for the Company's 9.5% share of
drilling costs relating to reentry operations at Cameron Parish, Louisiana
which have commenced. It is estimated that targeted depth for this operation
will be attained in 45 to 60 days.

Completion operations on the Company's second well in Monroe, Alabama should
be completed within the next ten days. Test results will be announced in due
course.
