>>That briefing piece is the most bullish thing I have witnessed since I read about that fund which gave up on COMS a few weeks ago.<<

Shows you what you know about Briefing.com - very little.

They gave up on COMS some time in the fall/winter of '97,
at the start of the Asia flu.

They praised the stock VERY HIGHLY all of summer '97, and
then when 3Com started going lower, they silently detracted it
from their recommendations list...NOT A WORD, after it
was one of their most highly rated prospects.

In the past, they've downgraded their recommendations
and backed it up with reasons. With 3Com they chose to
slither away without admitting something went wrong on
their analysis. They left readers wondering what's going
on and in the dark. So, I'd be skeptical about what they
say and don't say.

Also, I've monitored their analysis/recomendations
on many other stocks, since they're with E*trade, and for
me it's an easy two
seconds to see what they're saying. I've found them
to be not totally wrong, but still lacking...usally
smoothing out the facts, so they end up looking not
so bad....
