John: Thanks for the response. CPQ at the moment is my only tech. holding. I did short HWP when it was >80 (via a put option), but sold those too early!! (oh well). As for COMS, dont know much about them, will follow them to see what happens. On the other hand in the same sector have been watching CS (DEC sold their net business to them). Company has been in the dumps for a while. It might be a good long term play. Will wait for Monday to see their earning reports. Other than those, I am basically sitting on cash (5% Money Market) is not bad. I think the tech. downturn is not over and we have to be very careful and not be tempted with low prices. Good luck
