Had the notebook, but did not have net access. My brother had an Compuserve account in England (he lives in Athens and works in Europe all over the place) but did not check whether I could hook in at a local number. The city of Campobasso, the nearest one to my father's village is pretty small. The whole region of Molise only has 300k people, it is king of like Montana. Lot's of mountains. People have been leaving to the US, SA, Northern Italy forever, my father was one of the ones who left after WW II. My father's little town/village (pop. 3k) is actually a medieval castle/fortress in the mountains surrounded by all the peasants houses. It is all made out of rock with walls 3 ft. thick. Most houses date back to the 11th century. We restored my great grandfathers house recently. pancho
