Options expire tomorrow. Regarding money is money...

I play the market because I want a high return. Everyone needs to understand it's a gamble - plain and simple. The part about "hope for terrible economic news" etc.. was kind of a joke (kinda). It's not saying, I hope North Korea attacks South Korea, that's human life etc..

I'm not here to make friends, but to say whatever I want, whenever I want, to whomever I want and learn a great deal that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

I enjoy action and testing my intelligence and LUCK. To me it's fun and I have a locked in profit.

On the other hand, if I had just put all my money in THQI back in 1996 instead of jumping in and out from $3.50 - 5.00 for awhile, I would certainly have a greater return. If I had done that and never even found Silicon Investors, I would also have about 2,000 hours of more free time. I guess I'm not very intelligent huh?? :-)

Aloha

Sigmund, options expire Friday. (Always third Friday of each month.) And THQ's next press release is probably June 30 for Granstream Saga. Btw, congrats to the persistent AOL board who knew before anybody that Saga was officially going to ship this quarter. In stone.

Channel checks continue to be encouraging, on the whole. One store that had sold almost nothing out of fifty copies then moved half in three days. Stuff like that. Ad campaign really kicks into gear tomorrow night and beyond. I think Quest has already sold about 200,000 copies bases on about 15 per store plus big shipments to video rental stores.

I'd like a stock split before the Q2 announcement, if possible. Normally I wouldn't care, but lots of retail investors buy videogame stocks and $29 seems high for one. Plus it might shake up the memories of investors who remember THQ having trouble with $32. Just wouldn't seem the same, worrying about resistance at $16.

Actually, I think the co. would've been wise to split 3-2 on Dec. 31.

Marc

PS--Is World Cup Gameboy out? No press release, haven't heard it mentioned in channel checks, yet the THQ website says it is in stores now.
