david, my advice would be to can the box. buy some jan 60 puts and maybe some august 80 calls. then watch her go one way or the other. i'd buy 3 times as many puts due to that being the greatest probability after all this nonsense.

you limit your losses and can make good money, as opposed to bad money ;-)

i'd be scared to death to short this bowser.

Interesting enough, no one talking about YHOO announcement. Seems to have fallen on
deaf ears.. Hard time believing this gaps down much if at all.. Maybe a point.. Still plenty
of optimistic longs out there on all the boards. Should be interesting..

I cannot find the Yahoo annoucement:-(

David, I too am still boxed and will miss the gap down tomorrow morning. I did gain back over 6 points today, 5 on one long sell and buy, and 1 1/4 on the other at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I was too scared to leave the position unboxed overnight.

I am now actually making money on this position (not much, but I was down almost 9 points at one point).

I think there will be more money to be made over the next few days. I'm hoping for a gap down in the morning, a quick rebound, at which time I'll sell the long, and then wait it out till the end of the day. As usual, I will allow myself a 1 point stop buy to the upside if it happens to turn around (which I'm not expecting).

If the rebound never occurs, I'll just pick a spot and sell the long. I love not having to wait for the "uptick".

Gary
