David, am I reading this wrong or did TI really agree to $1.7 billion in debt from MU?

They give them $750 mil in financing for the anticipated retro-fits, plus take $740 mil convertibles and the $210 mil subordinated on top of the stock for the memory biz and MU takes on $190 mil in debt from the Italian ops. So that's $1.5 billion

That's mighty generous.

Also, if Tom Engibous is now branching TI off into debt-financing for ailing tech concerns he may want to familiarize himself w/ "S&P and "Moody's"? A 6.5% rate to this company?

Talk about wanting out of a business in a big way.

Good trading,

Tom
