Joe,

I am going to have to take issue with this statement. My favorite issue to beat to death is the fact that CPU performance is limited by memory latency, rather than bandwidth. A 128 bit bus does nothing for latency.

On the other hand, graphics performance is limited by dram bandwidth. Unfortunately for Mendocino, the graphics is located off chip and a wide CPU bus will do zippo for Mendocino graphics performance.
