I used Dow Jones Market Anaylzer Plus for years. It was created by RTR Software. At the time, RTR was located in El Paso Texas. Clay Bearcher was the CEO, spoke with him many times, getting bugs worked out. I also purchase the RTR companion software package for DJMAP, Technifilter Plus. (Techifilter Plus, allowed unlimited optimization of your strategies. That was great!)

I loved both software packages. The literature, had each formula written out. This allowed you to see the math behind the indicators, enabling you to alter them, if wanted. I altered the MACD OSC based on my own theories.

However, the programs were never upgraded after 1988. I kept a DOS computer on my desk, just to run this software. Toward the end of 1997, Dow Jones quit supporting the software. I started having problems.

I switched to the brand they were recommending. Windows on Wall Street, however I purchased directly from WOW and obtained the 32 bit Pro version. Nice to work in windows, but many limitations. Does offer fundamental functions, not offered in the old DOS based software. However, I am not much of a fundamentalist!

Big problem, I am not able to have the unlimited formula writing I did with DJMAP. I have been unable to convert many formulas. Stuck with using the existing built in stuff.

After reading you post. I went in and looked for a way to do a 3x Exp. No way.

I am struggling to write indicators that gives signals near to what I had. (The old stuff, was good to me.)

I am rambling. Thanks for responding.

Regards,
LG
