Win/lose 50/50? Boy, are you unsophisticated.

If Cisco and others didn't settle, there is little doubt that they expect to do better in court.

This shows LU to be in a very defensive posture. Actually, there is no way LU can move as fast as Cisco, so they seek to slow Cisco down. It won't work. Cisco may not win every battle, but they will prevail over LU in the protracted war.

Nortel, however, will be a major casualty of that clash of the Titans. When I saw Roth and House on tv, they both had that "deer caught in the headlights" look. Cisco and LU will carve them up before they hurt each other.
