Read my post more carefully PX. I didn't preclude that you may be anything other than short. Further, I wouldn't imply that all negative posters are shorts. From your postings however, it appears rather obvious that you may be.

I applaud your "raising possible pitfalls for discussion" and your looking out for "novice investors" however, it is human nature to advocate one's position.

I am not an investor, but a trader as my nickname obviously implies, so I'm not one whom you wish to ask re "rational articulations" about anything. I simply deal in positioning trades during certain moments in time. For your information I normally enter and exit several trades of under 1000 shares during a day and rarely have a loss of over 1/16 point, no matter what the market. I target 1/4 point, and often have gains of over 1/2 point. Sometimes I am wrong, often I am right. My net gains range between 30 - 50% per year of total capital, and that is while I'm trading conservatively.

I'm not "wired" as you suggest from losing money -- I wouldn't be in this game for long if I did lose.

There, my cards are on the table.

Regards,

it

PPS: Thank you for your sentiments of good luck. I don't believe in luck however, only probability, but thank you just the same.
