Isn't it also curious, my friend, that our esteemed government was warning all Americans about the impending Ice Age that would befall us as early as the middle of the 21st Century? This, just 25 years ago.

Duncan, I know that historical temperatures can be accurately told by tree-ring growth patterns. And probably other ways, although I don't have time to look them up right now. Maybe a scientifically-oriented person could jump in here.

This is absolutely pathetic. America creates a quarter of the earth's pollution, way out of line with its population or land mass. It is pathetic that other countries are willing to make much larger contributions to repair the earth than we are. We should be hanging our heads in shame.
