In late March, there was some talk on this thread about an acquisition in France. Do you know the outcome of that venture? I scanned over the last quarterly report, but it didn't mention it.

Hey John

I have not looked at the latest results in detail like yourself, so I may get a surprise when I see the balance sheet. So take my comments with an extra large grain if you please.
Re: your concern that they are boxing themselves into a financing corner and raising the risk of a dilutive equity issue. When they did the last issue to finance the Syntex Court purchase it was suggested that the facility would bring significant excess capacity to Patheon, and that future capital requirements were 5 yrs away assuming great growth. That transaction took place well below replacement cost ($12MM vs $40MM??)as I recall, so levering up the balance sheet a bit does not seem to be such a bad idea.
Yiou have peaked my curiosity on the latest numbers however. thanks
