I owned a Beechcraft Bonanza for 3 years (tail number N381). It was great. I think you should get your IFR rating (take your time, make it a one year project). The information learned while getting the rating makes you a much better pilot. Another suggestion would be to take airobatic (spelling??) lessons (Those lessons have help me better experience the limitations (edge of the envelope) of aircraft). I love to fly. Comments/Regards.
