Is there a way to "check" the scan to run without using the mouse.
...
I use automation to manage things, and so far, havent figured out
how to set the "check" in the scan list via the keyboard.

I tried starting the qp_rpts.exe, from my automation tool, with
a passed parameter (the name of the scan), but it still didnt run.

Instead of passing the scan name, you have to pass the name of a profile.

To create a profile, check all the scans that you want to run, then click Save Profile, then give it a name - like myprofile .

To run all the scans in the profile, just have a line like

c:\quotplus\qp_rpts myprofile

in your batch file.

Alex,

If you your trying to automate running QP2 you don't need to send keystrokes. Download my Qputils package and look at my batch files. I run dozens of scans every night without every touching a key all from plain ole dos batch...

netmediasolutions.com

BTW: Create a scan profile and save that to a file and then use that as the arguement to the scan program and it will run all scans in that profile. see my batch files for examples...

Email me or ask here if you have more questions....
