John:

I read it somewhere that the K-6 die size is about 130mm^2. It has over 21M transistors. K6-3 die size is roughly about the same PII die size currently. This should be one kick-butt chip. It will probably sell for about $200 when in full production at 400MHz. This K6-3 should give the Xeon of 512K cache a run for its money. The floating point of the K6-3 is 1.6GFLOPs! By Q4 there should be plenty of softwares for 3DNow.
