Profit would probably be the way to go if you are new to neural networks. It tends to shield you from a lot of the more advanced features in NGO. Profit uses a set of default values for the NGO, but you can change these later as your neural network skills improve. Profit also imports Metastock data, which saves you from having to export everything to ASCII files (assuming you use or have access to Metastock format). It also has some built in functions for data transformation, or manipulating your data to make the patterns in it more visible to the net. This includes basic TA indicators such as moving average (including Adaptive!), RSI, percent change, momentum, etc.properly and stick with it, Profit and NGO will make you some money.
