Gary,

Just got my copy of QP2 tonight. I love it but....

I downloaded the virtual program and found that it doesn't work under NT. I obviously missed something in my pre-purchase due diligence. Can we expect an NT version soon?

Other than that, thanks for your fine work.

Gary: On one computer, I can't resize the Scan Add/Edit window on the righthand side enough so that I can see the vertical scroll bars. It's easy enough on another computer, but nothing works on the other, no matter how I resize the window. I can see the horizontal scroll bar, but I can't get the righthand side or the corners to move over enough to get the vertical bars (or show the complete Help button). I have the same versions of QP Reports on both computers: 2.0.0.1. I can't imagine what the problem is. I'm trying it on a 17-inch monitor. Could it have anything to do with Display settings, with the Window scheme (set for Windows Standard) or the Dell monitor?

Brooke

Hi Gary

Do you know if QP2 internet download works behind the firewall? If not how can I download and update manually like release 1.x.

In release 1.x, I was able to setup QP to automatically update all my file.csv files after the database update. Can release 2.0 do this?

thanks in advance.

Gary,

There is currently no easy way to do that,

you have to go to the chart program,

Press N to bring up the search dialog box,

Select the IRL Industry groups tab,

Select the group you want,

click the select all button,

click the create new list button,

When I attempt this the pop up window states that a list has been created in the list control but, when I look for it on the List file, it doesn't exist. If I have a list open and hit "append the selected issues to the current list," the list is filled with the IRL stocks and I save it but when I reopen the list it is empty. What could I be doing wrong here?
Thanks.
Bob

To All: is anyone having a problem with their computer freezing up and having to reboot from time to time? Since installing qp2 with virtual, I've had periodic problems.

Gary and beta test gang: Nice Work! This is an awesome program.

But...

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that QV is the culprit. Since I loaded QP2 and QV my system hangs 80% of the time. I am ready to kill somebody about now.... LOL!

Anybody else having these problems...sheesh.

ANY FIXES? WORKAROUNDS? SUGGESTIONS?

Thanks,
bdog
