Eicon's DIVA Pro ISDN Interface Cards to be Factory-Installed in all ISDN-Specified PCs for Small Business and Consumer Markets

Eicon Technology, a leading worldwide provider of remote access hardware, today announced that Dell Computer Corporation has selected the Company's DIVA Pro ISDN interface card to be factory- installed in its ISDN-equipped Dimension PCs sold in the United Kingdom, Germany and France.

The DIVA Pro ISDN interface card provides remote users with fast, reliable connections to the Internet and corporate LANs, as well as the ability to send or receive faxes and connect to analogue devices. Factory installation of the DIVA Pro reduces the complexity of configuration and allows for quick and easy on-site computer set-up.

In response to increasing demand for an ISDN solution from consumers and small businesses Dell has become the first major PC manufacturer in Europe to offer standard configurations including ISDN to these users.
