Joe,

It started out as a blood pressure med, like other vasodilators...
their is an enzyme in EVERY males penied, a phosphokinase type enzyme that helps dilation and blood flow into the penis.. What viagra does, is help block the breakdown of this enzyme.. it is a phosphokinase inhibitor... I assume that in a "normal" male, it would prolong a normal erection... A couple of buddies and I have dared each other to try it, but we are too scared of the consequences... priapism and painful erection, plus, keeping the wives up for 2-3 hours might raise some eyebrows.. (my wife is a pharmacist too... :D)
