No, I'm not new to tech investing at all, I've done well investing in companies who show increasing revenues and profits. I'm from the old school who believe that profits do matter.

My point was quite simple, CYBG is losing money, losing a lot compared to revenue. They have an uphill battle against better established competition. I'm not against occasional speculation that a new, or turn-around company can become profitable. But IMO, CYBG stock is overvalued for the substantial risks involved.

Only time will tell if they can make their business plan work.
