Glenn, I would expect this news to negatively impact the stock today. It doesn't seem likely the Ericcson exec would state this if they were actually in negotiation with ASND. ASND execs would probably perceive this as very manipulative. BTW this is consistent with earlier statements they have made re: smaller acquisitions versus larger. I guess we'll see soon enough.

Well, if its not ASND, who fits the "several hundred million" bill? Perhaps SHVA or MRVC or XYLN (stretch on this one) or FORE or Cabletron (bigger stretches). Or maybe they just do go after private startups, although I can't see how this would help sales and marketing in the US.
