Of course, I don't KNOW that it is ex-insiders who are selling, but I am speculating that it is so. To further that speculation lets consider their motives:

Raising cash for their next adventure.
"Punishing" John Smythe for not toeing the line.
Putting the past behind them.

No matter what, I expect everyone has a minimum price they are willing to sell at. Perhaps we have seen that level. Perhaps also ex-insiders are disappointed that a heavy wave of retail selling has not accompanied their own, allowing them to pick up panicking retail investor's stock at discount prices.

I don't know exactly their motives. But yes, lots and lots of bids have stacked up in the low '20's and the offer has lessened somewhat. As noted earlier, I have never sold a single share of Unitec stock and am not planning on doing so for a long time to come.
