Jim, the wrong bias of this article is apparent
from the first phrase:

"Advanced Micro Devices Inc.'s
second-generation "Pentium II
killer," the K6-2, matches up
well against...."

I think it is time to stop thinking in
terms of "killers" and "losers". I is
better just compete: for some segment,
for group of applications (e.g. games),
for lowest-cost system, etc.
Chevy Lumina is not considered as a "killer"
of Volvo-850. It competes in a slightly
different customer base, that's it.
