what are you guys talking about? I go to the home page and dont see an advertisment. In fact, I have signed onto SI about everyday for 2 years and have yet to see even the first advertisment. Maybe my browser stinks? I use Microscape Internet Explorer 1.0 <G> €á

White Shoes, Linking directly to the bookmarks page is, of course, an excellent idea! But if u value the current environment it may pay to be at least mildly vigilant. If the marketeers adopt the notion that any kind of advertising overkill on the home page is acceptable, they may target your bookmark page (or even bookmarks) next for some kind of embedded advertising. I'd rather make a fuss now while I'm still feeling grumpy and while they may still have some feelers out for (negative) feedback. Bob
