Dave,

I would highly recommend the PlayStation. Many more games than the N64, which is geared towards younger children anyway. The more sophisticated and challenging games are on the PS by far.

*OT* -- Game platform recommendation

Hi Dave,

I'd have to second Henry's recommendation of the Playstation. I've had a Playstation for almost 2 years, and my biggest problem has been that I don't have the time to play all the good games I see. Two of my friends have N64's, and while it has some graphical superiority to the Playstation (though not in all ways, as many mistakenly believe), it's been plagued by a lack of games (which is why an okay game sells so much better on the N64 than on the Playstation).

The other two factors that probably make a difference is the difference in target markets (N64 targets a younger audience), and the price of the games (N64 games cost roughly $15-$25 more than Playstation games).

With regards to console vs. PC, you get the same genres of games, but within each genre, consoles and PC's have different "flavors," so to speak. You might want to check out this link:

Hope that helps!
