So you initially sold short at 70 with a stop buy at 71

Bill, I think you understand boxing just fine. I just confused you. When I said I went short at 70, it was from a boxed position. So, I really just sold my long 300 shares to get short.

The buy stop at 70 was to simply get back the long., and be boxed again.

The short shares are just sitting there, untouched. I sell and buy the long to be short, and then boxed again. I can also buy extra long shares to net long the stock, but haven't done this yet (but I'm not biased at this point, the goal is to make money, not emotional about AMZN).
