DRL--Ouch! I just started buying the oil sector on Monday. I like to buy on the "bad" news, and sell on the good.
What is your opinion of Lomak (LOM)?

Been there, done that. However, there are two schools of thought on this:

1) You're "taking" a shot, so why quibble for 1/8 or 1/16? It's an extra amount of money, but if you "smell" that something's going to happen, what's a small amount like that compared with the potential gain?

2) Stay true to the discipline of splitting the bid and ask for options, no matter what the price.

I missed a few very large ones too, but I still think, on balance, I like the thoughts from camp 2.

Regards,
