Rich, you bring up some good points which coincide with what I have been thinking of lately. Here are some of my thoughts:

Look at the situation from the Morgan's perspective. He comes into what was then OLPV with high hopes of turning a garment manufacturing company around. The company was mis-managed with a previous CEO that did some unsavory things. Morgan attempted to set things right, but his efforts were hampered by dealings from a rep company (Alexis International) and Mork "shorting the pig".
Along comes Riley G and his rag-tag group of a 'Cartel' which were going to take advantage of a seemingly short position created by Mork and others. Did the Cartel care about the company or the fundamentals? On the surface maybe, but the emphasis was the squeeze of the shorts.
Damn the company once the squeeze was over.
So what about Morgan? What was he to do after it was over? He had to be thinking how he could benefit from the hype also. Coming out with a press release that he is going to combat the illegal shorting of BB stocks was a good catalyst to aid in the hype, but will not help in furthering the future of making clothes.

One thing for sure, Morgan and Breton are not stupid. One can be sure they have not been sitting around by the phone the last six months waiting for Puhr to call. There must be some other plans in the works.

So where do we go from here? I'll post some other thoughts about what we need to do later.

JMHO
