I've been gone some over the past few weeks - with a short week in AZ. Last night I tried to catch up on some of the reading material I brought back with me. I don't remember if anyone has mentioned this yet. I'm sorry for any duplication. In the June 1998 issue of "GOLF TODAY", on page 31, there is a nice article about The Classic Series. It relates the success of the first tourney. It includes quotes from participants. The article indicates that The Classic Series "will be expanded each year, with players like Tommy Bolt, Gene Littler, Billy Casper, Lionel Hebert, Bob Goalby, Bob Rosburg, Doug Ford, Sam Snead, Charlie Sifford and Joe Jimenez..." There are some new names in there. The article also gives a lot of credit to Sandy Painter of Mullen Public Relations. I don't remember reading about this as the PR firm. Does anyone else have any further info ?? Rich
