Asus - Creative Labs SB Link

I haven't looked into this at all.
"Many of the new cards might me using this standard."
Whoever posted this thinks that its a nonstandard that wants
to be called a standard, doesn't it?

What matters is that it will accept the Soundblaster,
via a cable because onboard Soundblaster capability has had problems running old editions. Its their way of fixing the Soundblasters problem. Is this a big deal?

Here's two possible options:
Asus P2B: 1 AGP slot, 4 PCI slots
Use 3 of the PCI slots for graphics cards and the other for
ethernet and go with a ISA sound card.

Asus P2B-L: 1 AGP slot, 4 PCI slots, built in Intel ethernet card.
This will allow me to go with a PCI soundcard. This seems to be
the best option.
