Sean...

Thanks for the additional input. I just learned about VMS yesterday and ran a couple simple scans with it. It's just what I needed.

I also learned that I can run a scan and dump it if I don't like it. I can see why it is that I don't have to reboot my machine 10 times a day now. I'm on drive E with all this, so I created E:\META and all the scan lists go there for perusal in WOW.

Here's a question for you (and others). I dropped by Brooke's site last night and picked up a couple scans. One attracted my attention as it was written by an old Prodigy friend, Bill Sandusky. I just ran that scan (BNS)this morning and it ran about 31 minutes. Is that normal? I was also doing something else in another window, but didn't think I was slowing the machine down. 64mb of RAM here.

One more question. How can I learn what a particular scan is meant to do. The simpler ones are easy to figure out just by editing them and reading some of the code. But, Bill's is lengthy and complex. After I ran it I still didn't know what I actually had.
