Kind of off topic but since we've talked about MM games I had a couple questions. If anyone has answers I would appreciate it. Several people have posted the bid/ask for all the MM's on a particular stock (on this thread and others). Some of the differences between them are pretty large. Is there anything stopping MM makers from taking advantage of these differences? What I'm getting at is that daytraders often can take advantage of the differences by trading in 1000 share or fewer blocks in order to be picked up by the SOES (small order execution system). The SOES bandits, as they are sometimes called, basically have an arbitrage opportunity and take advantage. Do MM's do the same thing. Can they also short the stock of another MM with higher bid/ask and replace it with the cheaper shares from another MM? I don't know if this is even possible but I've been trying to think of the ways people are shorting this stock. Maybe I shouldn't think so much.

Good luck.
