Damn, that was pretty good!

Must be a slow day everywhere. World economics, poetry, and nobody trading.

Very nice! Are you atticted?? :-)

Regarding...

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Blue chips extended their slide to fresh session lows in afternoon trading Friday as traders headed for the exits
wondering if a weekend Group of Seven meeting will do enough to kick-start ailing economies in Asia. The rest of Wall Street
struggled in a narrow trading range.

Does anyone NOT THINK that we are setting the stage for a MASSIVE rally, based on this weekends report?

I think there is about NIL chance of them coming out and saying, "ahh the whole things all screwed up and we quit". Of course not....

They'll probably say "Japan (we) recognize the need for immediate action and the G-7 offers its full support blah blah blah.."

If I had to guess, I'd say the U.S. market will go up 150-200 points on Monday. Based on that, I bought Adaptec (ADPT) this morning. I will sell that for a gain on Monday or Tuesday and buy THQI again! HA!

Off to work I go.......

Aloha

You guys are great!
If SI even conduct a poll of "Best SI thread", I will definitely vote for THQ thread. It is by far the most entertaining and most informative thread in SI that I had read.

The 52-week high should be breached sometime before the 14th of July:
Bastille Day and well before Q2 earnings. Few will prove averse to that
kind of verse.

P.S.This thread was cited as the most informative on the Net in a
street.com article by Corey Johnson, their West Coast Bureau chief.

Hello everyone, I've been out of commission for a little while. Bravo Todd, congratulations Andrew.

I just returned from the local suburban Detroit mall where I was doing a little field research at the Electronics Boutique. Quest is selling there for $64.99. I talked to the managers who said that they had sold about 15-20 copies so far. I asked them if the game was any good; they didn't really know but they gave me the standard reply "It's the best role playing game out there for the Nintendo". While I was there a girl actually bought a copy of Quest which I thought was a good sign.
