Doug,

Thanks for CMGI, great looking triple top. Will really have to work up the courage to stand in front of one of these internet freight trains. Could not resist the long term triple bottom today in BA. Went long at 42 15/16. Have not done a Dow stock in a long time, but if you get a chance this weekend, I'd love your TA opinion on this company that makes my "company car."

VRTY - currently one of the 3 amigos examinations
URGI - stock with attitude, and on volume watch this week
GRH - One of "thirteens" from mid may
PYX - from one of the "99RS" lists a few months ago.
LVCI - ??
ISLI - ??

Doug, Thread:

CMGI and AMZN,

Where is the IL for AMZN? It seems to be drawing a nice short-term utl that could support it for quite a while. I'm thinking of short selling if that line is seriously breached, but knowing the IL would help me. Maybe give me a point and slope? Darn, I really wish I could make the seminar this weekend.

CMGI may be a potential short, but I see it as having huge upward potential right now. Of course, given our respective track records and the obvious gap in TA knowledge between us, I'd bet on Doug here...

Thanks in advance,
long time listener
John.

Doug,

What's this!!!??? You've been ... WHATTTT!!!???? For exposing a nationally documented fake? That piece of f#$#ing $hit?
As someone who praised SI in print--ONCE--I will now avail myself of the next opportunity to address this wrong IN PRINT.
Unf@#$ing real.
Enjoy LA. And to all first-time attendees: PAY ATTENTION. Doug has one enormous fault: He goes too fast, and has no pity for those who can't follow. As I've said here many a time, That Doug R, He's a cruel man.
F@#$ing SI!

Ivan

PS: I wanna buy ELGT, but it's my first move in the market since the correction began and I need some handholding.

LIVE FROM LAX!

All is quiet...all that remains are a few crumpled up charts under the bar tables that were missed by the clean up crew...wait, is that Sasquach?...no, just his blanket.

There's a bum on the street yellin "pink sucks!" must be an LA thing...

Well Doug R, the Doc, King of VooDoo! AWESOME JOB DUDE!!!!
Another successful seminar! Tons of good "stuff". Lot's of "new late night breaking news at the bar stuff" too with that bunny hop thang. THANKS A TON FOR YOUR HARD WORK!

It was a great "crowd" too! Nice too meet ya'all! I'm sure everybody came away with a great new set of tools to enhance their trading style.

Cube, keep your eyes on the instruments...after you land you can code that new indicator. (this guy is gonna "fly"... he spotted a new MIMBO within minutes of learning what it was) DUDE!

Then there's David J... he's on a new magnetic field already. Thanks for the great Magnet mini seminar. You're a star.

I think TORO has retained the most from these seminars from anybody I've met. Amazing.

Ken Reidy is struggling whether to do anymore FA or not...keep the faith Ken/Ben, I need a good FA guy now and then!

Omer can't wait to fold his shares of BOST into paper airplanes.

Solipsist found himself.

Theo is constructing metastock templates in his sleep.

Eric will sleep all day.

Tim will sleep for a week, hope he got on the right plane!

Northstar is selling laptops in the alley.

Walker, watcher and Ceez are gonna run the "attitude stock" up on Monday so I can't buy my 180 shares worth.

Jim is on the phone with parity persuading an upgrade.

The rest of you guys probably already emailed me on why that indicator you copied from me doesn't work...

I'm sitting here wading through a slew of new indicators...now what were those hard nose stoch numbers again? I'm sooo confused. Crum, now I got to go to the next one!

and Doug...he's working on his "next" system...have a great vacate with your sweetheart!

I had a gas.

Doug & other "The Great Boom Ahead" fans,

Here's an interesting article about the "Millenium Generation" in the Washington Post today:

washingtonpost.com

and here's another one that is interesting, about "Generation X":
washingtonpost.com

For those who don't know about the book "The Great Boom Ahead" by Harry S. Dent, it's a great book that uses demographics information to predict the economy, among other things. Written at the start of the '90s, some of his predictions have been extremely on the mark.
Very worthwhile reading!

Doug: If you have a chance, could you give EPIX a quick look. If you like what you see there, you could always look deeper into it. If not, no biggy.
Also, see post on 100% thread for some additional information on the stock.

Welcome back! Hear everything went real well! Happy campers!

PSST

DAVE probably belongs on whatever cybervolumewatch is being kept in these DARK, DARK DOUGLESS days.
tscn.com

Doesn't need that much volume to signal at this point. Two of the three signals went straight into the Feline Hall of Fame.
