I have found an active IRS procurement request for about 21 AFIS-qualified livescans, final proposals due June 26, first installation September 15, 1998, system operational July 1999. There are to be two live scans in each of ten "service centers" as well as an OPM installation. I don't know the purpose of them.

This is in .pdf format. Go to procurement.irs.gov and go to "solicitation" and from there choose "TIRNO-98-R-00055"

Jean,

Well, so far David has said he bought some IDX today at 5 1/2. And you bought some today as well. I confess I pulled the trigger and put my money where my mouth is and bought some more at 5 5/8. If the stock goes down even more I will consider buying more.

Brad, where do you get the idea there will be some announcements next week? Do you have ESP or what?
