re: Breakup Fee - Dear bayhead, I read somewhere last nite [can't remember where though,] someone has made the allegation that according to the relevant court papers [which makes this a 3rd hand information] there is a breakup fee of $274MM. If it is true, it is quite significant; but then, if it is true, the whole reason is to make any coldfeet prohibitively costly, isn't it? Still, if someone wants something bad enough, what is a $274MM in light of a transaction that will likely to reach beyond $10B? note: if anyone has any verification and/or confirmation of the breakup fee, please followup, thanks best, Bosco
