Today a hickup and a 50% decline is a 25 Billion dollar loss in market cap.
3 years ago, it would have been 1 billion or so.
That is the so what.
You may still only loose 25% of your money, but that is most likely over 100% of your initial investment, if you have been in for a while.

Slow ASP declines are good,
20-30-40% Y/Y declines are not. that is what we have seen over the past 6 months.
This is the difference I see.
