Markus, the last trade was at 0.62. Also, I just got this e-mail. May explain something:

Very interesting finish to the trading today. I would guess that the
seller that has been on top of FNTN for about the last 2 weeks or so
might be gone. The mm, AVTG, has been around the ask alot without
seeming to go to the bid very much at all. After that last trade of 30k
AVTG went right to the bid and created a crossed market at .62. Good way
to end a friday on a good upswing. The following is the mm page at close
of trading friday.

AVTG 0.620 0.700 25 x 25 06/19/98 15:55:56 8005798100
FAHN 0.600 0.660 25 x 25 06/19/98 15:33:55

-----more e-mail

Sorry, the explanation is that all the firms listed previously,
currently make a market in the stock as buying or selling firms. The
initials are how they are represented on the page. The dates and times
are the last time that they made a change in their buying or selling
status. The highest left column number is the highest bid and the lowest
right column number is the lowest ask. I hope this clears up my previous
e-mail.

Markus, in your Post 2047 you ask; "What happened at the close today? Someone actually gave up 30,000 shares for 2.5 cents less then the market price.... I don't understand, can anyone explain this? "

As I have stated before in many of my posts, "That's the nature of the beast". I will try and give an explanation based on what I believe may have happened.

Lets assume that FNTN opened at 0.58 for the day.
Lets assume that the last trade of FNTN was at 0.62 and it was just before the close of the markets.
Now there is someone who has ask 0.70 and another who has ask 0.67.
Now there is someone who has bid 0.55 and another who has bid 0.575.

Along comes a seller who puts in a sell order for 3,000 shares just before close at "Market Price" their order most likely will fill at 0.575 the highest and last bid but 0.045 below the last selling price. Because they did not set their selling price they got much less then they might have expected.

If that were the last sale of the day (which it was) the over all price for the day would drop FNTN to a 0.005 loss instead of a 0.04 gain. I never buy or sell at market I always set my buy and sell price just because of what happened to FNTN today.

I hope this helps,

Bill Fortune III
