To Thread, I am still trying to get in touch with NN investor relations to talk about MPLS. I left a message for John Lawlor to call on Monday. I am not a technical expert, I am just trying to get a feel for NN position on the matter relative to ASND shipment of prestandard products. It also seems to me that ASND and CSCO are winning the mindshare on this issue. If anyone has any specific questions to ask NN about MPLS, please send to me via email at pricebw@aol.com and I will pass them on.

Regards

Is there a specific concern you have about the current Newbridge site?

Before responding, I went back and checked and I have to admit NN's made some fantastic changes in the last few days.

One link:
newbridge.com

takes you to a corporate overview --- a good start.

For a more detailed corporate history:

This is excellent. But being a pdf file, it takes time to load and even more time to read. Okay, I need speed, but I don't have it, and anyone doing a casual surf for information probably won't have the patience to scroll through it page by page.

By going the "news" route, you can get a fantastic array of choices, probably the best layout of any website I've seen. Still, no summary giving a global view. I once saw a play in London called, "The Complete Shakespeare in One Hour," or something to that effect. I'd like "The Complete NN in Four Minutes." And not on pdf. That's okay for a document I want to print and read later, but not for quick information.

This is all nit-picking. Not even worth writing about.

While checking out the new site, I found a document called "ADSL Note."
newbridge.com

It's divided into segments, listed to the left, and the information appears to be quite recent.

I'm impressed with a lot I hadn't seen before.

Later --
