CORP. / Fox Energy Amends Warrant Expiry Date

FOX AMENDS WARRANTS

CALGARY, June 19 /CNW/ - Fox Energy Corporation announced today that it
has obtained regulatory approval to amend the expiry date and the exercise
price of common share purchase warrants issued in February and September of
1997. The Corporation had issued 400,000 and 733,750 warrants with expiry
dates of October 31, 1997 and September 30, 1998, respectively. These
warrants are now exercisable on or before December 31, 1998 at a price of
$0.55 per common share.

Fox is currently participating in a test well being drilled on a gas
prospect in northeast Alberta. The Company continues to focus on optimizing
its natural gas projects and has a production mix of 65% natural gas and 35%
light oil.
