Norden --

I'm pleased with the deal, too. And think as more analysts and fund managers study the details, and refine their numbers, they'll see what a great buy TI is at this level.

Rich Templeton's speech from April:
ti.com

<<<In the market sectors most important to TI, we expect about 30 percent growth in DSP and about 20 percent growth in mixed-signal for 1998, fueled by wireless and networking applications. We are seeing near-term caution in the United States with customer inventory corrections taking place. There is fundamental strength in most end-equipment markets, especially the communications sector. Europe is a bright spot and remains strong, due in large part to the wireless market. >>>>

It's been a good week. Even SSPIF can walk down the street with pride.

"We done good" is right. :))
