I noticed your post are mainly SYQT or IOM. Many of the posters here and on the IOM thread seems to aligned with their stock as one would be with a school or sports team.

I find this alignment very odd!

Isn't the plan to invest in stocks (the market) to make money? Why this rival...just does not make since!

I own merchandise from both companies. They both get the job done. I was in the graphics industry for many years. Syquest use to have the majority of business. Syquest did most of its business with Mac as oppose to PC's. (Mac dominated the graphics industry.) After, the introduction of the Zip, IOM took major market share from Syquest in the graphics market.

Maybe, this is more a Mac and PC thing, than a SYQT, IOM thing?

Let's face it, both companies have problems. Maybe Syquest is in more trouble than IOM. Let us hope they both survive. People depend on the companies for a living. Shorts out there, don't have to see companies going under to make money.

Regards,
LG

PS: I own both PC's and PMac's.
