I know you think they can't make money on the OEM model - but I think they can if they really pounce on designing for reduced parts and production costs on the Zip and seriously reduce their overhead. What I'm not sure of is whether the management can execute.

I'm afraid management may ignore the retail Zips. They can't do that, especially because they need the new USB version. However, they could outsource the retail business - maybe that's the solution!
