Dean, there is a certain Spanish word very similar to Laplata which means (to be euphemistic) call girl. So when you bring up our Pres. being down in Ecuador watching drilling progress on Laplata, oh nevermind. The company is funded and the stock has found support and that is the main thing at this point. --Alan

Dean, did you get an annual report yet? It seems like I had one by this time last year. I vaguely remember a press release or something that hinted that Zappa might pick up an acquisition one of these days. Care to speculate as to whether an out of the blue announcement might suddenly move this stock? Or is that just a plan B waiting in the wings in case La Plata doesn't pan? --Al
