thall, I will not contact your boss just yet. My wife uses pearlite, and I have tried it, but prefer lime or wood ashes for plunging my red hot knife blades into for anealing them. My wife just puts pearlite with the sand and composted cowshit that I give her for her flowerpots. I quite do not know what to think of you. If you have some facts and some useful information for us all re the subject at hand, we, I am sure would be all glad to hear it. Be useful, not a continual detractor with no useful information. We are all certainly entitled to choose our own fate and have our own opinions. I have had mine and some have been good and some frankly, not so good. I am not asking any to adopt mine, and I adopt few until they are poven by time and trial. I am always sceptical of the opposing view and the opposing detractor with no useful information, save some piece of trash dug from the dungpile of human history. Just the facts, mam!--long time ago, but still true! Best to you and all for a fine weekend--over and out!!
