3com boy, If your earnings estimates are right I'll send you an interesting gift from Japan (where I live). I also posted the earnings date (Monday, June 22 after the close) under earnings on this thread. Personally I think coms should at least make the quarter or at worst come within .01 or .02 below for the simple reason that they've been/are in the doghouse with the Street. If they were to come in below (substantially) then it would make sense that by now they would have learned with the stock near it's 3(?) year low to give SOME, even minimal earnings shortfall guidance or a warning to the analysts/public in order to build back the reliability of the management and improve on their image in the investment community. Remember 8 months ago when ASND hired a new CFO when their public image was hurting. That seems to have worked for them. Coms will need SOME good news monday or we may just trade in a range for another quarter (maybe 2) like we did before the drop through $32. If they do miss by a larger margin then I expect the CC to be very optimistic with the "worst being over" said repeatedly to reassure the stockholders. If this doesn't happen then this company gets what it deserves and I may go elsewhere for a quarter or two until things start looking better. I don't think this will be the case though. regards Brad

The June 22 issue of Barron's (page 11) states COME qtr 4 earnings will be announced WED! It is listed as: CONSENSUS ESTIMATE 0.17 and year ago 0.12. Now is it Mon or Wed??? JR
