At the annual meeting ELY indicated it has decided not to compete for pro endorsements. Taylor Made and the others pay big money to get pro endorsements, and ELY feels its money can be better spent elsewhere. ELY will still have a large pro exposure, because many pros like their clubs, but the days of 65% penetration are over.

Well, I think I saw, while viewing the open last night...O'meara (back of cap), Janzen, Els. Of course there are others. ELY does not seem to have the real standouts, at least on the regular tour. Daly, Zinger, Furyk (probably playing best at the moment). One breakout by Daly would be of immense worth, of course.
Although Parnevik uses ELY, I saw nothing on his apparel to link him to Callaway...disappointing.
