Well put Yousef, cost is as closely linked to fab loading as it is to die size. It doesn't matter what the yield is for an idle fab. I don't think anyone is fully loaded right not. Not AMD , not even Intel. Nobody.

I see, you think as AMD increases yields they may become demand constrained rather than supply constrained. Yes, I realize that might be a problem. But where is the crossover line? That's the question. AMD no doubt could use a couple more vendors such as HP and Gateway.
BTW, HP is an Intel only boxmaker, why has their stock sunk from 80 to 56? Could it be the Intel jinx? <GGG>
